Derek Lowe gave up one run -- a solo shot by Houston's Eric Munson -- but was pulled after four-plus innings due to an undisclosed injury. Jeff Kent's homer in the seventh knotted the game at one, but the Astros struck back in the bottom of the inning.
Matt Albers made a spot start in place of the injured Roy Oswalt -- and pitched like an ace. The righty gave the Astros five scoreless innings, in which he fanned five Dodgers and gave up just three hits. Eric Munson and Carlos Lee each contributed a solo tater to provide Houston with enough offense to win.
a-Grounded into a double play for Albers in the 5th.
