The Red Sox bullpen allowed one run in 5 2/3 innings of relief of left-hander Jon Lester, who struggled through 3 1/3 innings, allowing five runs. Dustin Pedroia hit a tiebreaking homer in the seventh inning, and Manny Ramirez and Mike Lowell each added two RBIs.
