Chipper, catch key victory

Chipper Jones hit a 470-foot three-run home run in the fifth, his 38th career homer against the Mets. Mark Teixeira added a solo shot, and he singled and scored in the seventh inning for the eventual game-winning run. Willie Harris robbed Carlos Delgado of a game-tying homer in the ninth, preserving the victory for Tim Hudson.

Ruben Gotay singled and scored in the ninth inning, and David Wright followed with a two-run homer to cut the Braves' lead to one. But Carlos Delgado's deep drive to left-center was caught at the wall by Willie Harris, and the Mets dropped the finale. New York had to rally after John Maine endured his second straight rough start.
