Marlins' valuable Han-dy man
Florida rallies in opener
Down by one heading into the ninth inning, the Marlins had one of their superstars at the plate with two on and one out. Facing Mets closer Billy Wagner, shortstop Hanley Ramirez hit a game-winning two-run double over the outstretched hands of center fielder Carlos Beltran to seal the deal in the series opener at Shea Stadium.

Series at a glance:
Beltran's return spoiled
What would have been a grand return from the DL for Carlos Beltran, who hit a three-run homer, instead turned into a tough loss. With the Mets up by one, closer Billy Wagner gave up a two-run double to Marlins shortstop Hanley Ramirez in the ninth inning to blow just his second save of the year.
