After Jake Westbrook gave up five hits in eight shutout innings, the Indians scored three 10th-inning runs en route to a win over the Tigers. Kenny Lofton broke a scoreless tie with an RBI single, and Chris Gomez followed with a two-run single. Westbrook struck out three and walked two. Cleveland stretched its lead in the AL Central to

Nate Robertson allowed four hits over 8 2/3 scoreless innings, but the Tigers dropped the series rubber match to the Indians. Robertson struck out three while not walking a batter.
