Duque helps Mets get payback

Eric Stults' first career start was a one-run masterpiece at Shea Stadium on Sept. 10, 2006. His second visit to Shea did not live up to the first, as he walked five batters en route to a fifth-inning exit. Luis Gonzalez and Russell Martin hit consecutive homers in the seventh off Orlando Hernandez, but the Dodgers fell just short.

After watching Eric Stults burn them with a gem last September, the Mets turned the tables. Orlando Hernandez was brilliant, retiring 12 straight at one point, and Carlos Delgado snapped an 0-for-19 slide with a two-run single. Jose Reyes stole his 70th base.
