Horacio Ramirez held the Yankees to one run through five, but he caved in a three-run sixth inning that proved too costly for the Mariners, who took a step back one game after a statement win that snapped a nine-game skid. The loss dropped Seattle to two games behind New York in the AL Wild Card.
