Aaron Harang had one hiccup, allowing two runs in the fourth, but he otherwise shut down the first-place Cubs on six hits over seven innings to lead the Reds to a win -- their fourth over Carlos Zambrano this season. Edwin Encarnacion went 3-for-4 with a homer and two RBIs to pace Cincinnati's bats.

Wrigley magic bottled up By Carrie Muskat / MLB.com
The Cubs overcame a two-run deficit in the ninth in the opener, but couldn't rally against a three-run disadvantage in this one, falling to the Reds and slipping into a first-place tie with the Brewers. Jacque Jones hit a two-run single and sparkled in center, but Carlos Zambrano toiled through 5 1/3.
