A's fall in series finale By Steve Herrick / Special to MLB.com

Dallas Braden allowed six earned runs over 3 1/3 innings. Shannon Stewart had three of Oakland's six hits.

The Indians laid claim to their seventh division title in 13 seasons and first since 2001, winning behind a strong effort from Jake Westbrook. Grady Sizemore went 4-for-4 and drove in two as the Tribe scored two in the second and four more in the fourth.
