Right-hander Josh Fogg blanked the Dodgers on five hits and five strikeouts over 6 2/3 innings and he combined with three relievers to shut out LA to lead Colorado to a club-record 10th straight win. Kazuo Matsui and Matt Holiday hit RBI singles in the third.

Lowe solid; bats struggle By Jayson Addcox / MLB.com
Derek Lowe, making his final start of the season, gave up two third-inning runs on five hits over seven innings, but the Dodgers bats were unable to push across a run against the Rockies. Delwyn Young collected two of Los Angeles' eight hits on the night.
