Fish knock Mets off perch
Marlins impacting races
Fresh off a sweep of the Cubs, the Marlins made their impact on the NL East race, knocking the Mets out of a tie for first place. Jeremy Hermida's two-run homer in the first gave Florida the lead, and it never looked back. Hanley Ramirez had three hits and Dan Uggla scored three times.

Series at a glance:
Perez can't get it done
Oliver Perez had won three September starts, but the lefty was wild as the Mets fell out of first place in the NL East for the first time since May 15. A miscue by David Wright proved costly in Florida's two-run third, though Carlos Beltran hit a two-run homer in the same frame. Florida broke through in the fourth.
