Jered Weaver was excellent for seven innings, allowing no runs on just three hits and striking out six. He got offensive help from Howie Kendrick, who singled in a run in the fourth inning, and Torii Hunter, who doubled in a run in the fifth. Francisco Rodriguez finished with his third save.
