After a two-run first inning, the Red Sox hitters fell silent on Saturday evening against the Rangers' Jason Jennings. But in the eighth, facing Joaquin Benoit, David Ortiz singled to tie the game at 3, and Manny Ramirez blasted a shot over the Green Monster in left field.
