Cole Hamels gave up three runs in the first inning, then retired 20 of the next 25 batters, striking out 11 in 7 1/3 innings, before losing the lead in the eighth on Prince Fielder's second home run of the night. Chase Utley, Greg Dobbs and Pat Burrell went deep for the Phils.
