Justin Morneau was the Twins' hitting star early, with an RBI single in the first and a grand slam in the third to give Minnesota a 5-0 lead. Starter Nick Blackburn allowed seven consecutive hits, leading to five runs, to start the third. Juan Rincon allowed a walk-off single in the 10th, after allowing a single and a double.
