Texas starter Jason Jennings gave up five runs and eight hits before leaving the game with no outs in the third inning due to a sore elbow, and the Rangers went on to fall to the Royals. Michael Young, Josh Hamilton and Ramon Vazquez each had two hits and one RBI.
