Andy Sonnanstine went eight innings, giving up one run on six hits, striking out five. The Rays batted around in the seventh inning, scoring five runs off the Orioles' bullpen to blow the game open. Eric Hinske hit a two-run home run in the fourth to give Tampa Bay the lead.
