Raul Ibanez doubled in two runs in the first inning to get the offense going. Jose Lopez singled in a run in the second, Richie Sexson added a solo homer in the third, followed by Wladimir Balentien's three-run shot. All of the offense made a winner of left-hander Jarrod Washburn.
