Rangers right-hander Vicente Padilla was in fine form, shutting out the Mariners over seven innings, allowing just two hits and striking out eight. Brandon Boggs tripled in Milton Bradley for the first run in the fourth inning, and Bradley added a solo homer in the sixth frame.
