The Royals got six strong innings from Kyle Davies, who was in line to win and improve to 3-0. But for the second night in a row, the bullpen could not hold a four-run lead. This time, KC relievers allowed seven runs in the seventh inning, unable to make Mark Grudzielanek's four RBIs hold up.
