Tigers 5, Giants 1
Kenny Rogers scattered five hits across seven innings. (Ben Margot/AP)
Ryan Raburn's pinch-hit homer leading off the eighth broke up a pitchers' duel and rewarded Kenny Rogers' solid effort with a win in his first start at AT&T Park. Marcus Thames capped the victory by homering in his fifth straight game to tie a franchise record and give him eight homers in his last eight hits.
