It took a little while to get started against Scott Kazmir, but the Astros eventually chased him from the game with homers from Hunter Pence in the fifth and Carlos Lee in the sixth. Brandon Backe allowed just two runs on six hits in 6 2/3 innings as the Astros won the series.
