Attempting to regain the AL East's top spot, the Sox fell behind early and nearly came all the way back, but couldn't push the tying run across in the ninth. J.D. Drew ripped his 12th homer of June, but Justin Masterson and the 'pen combined to walk eight, which led to four Rays runs.
