The O's were down a run before they got to the plate, but they stormed back, putting up a three spot in the first, including a Nick Markakis two-run double. Brian Burres allowed three runs in 5 2/3 innings and the bullpen surrendered two more scores, but the O's offense was unable to produce, scattering just five hits after the first.
