Saturday's rain-infused contest had a bizarre ending. In the eighth, with two outs and a man on first in a tie game, B.J. Upton hit a blooper to shallow right. But the Royals lost it in the wind and it fell for a double, setting up Carl Crawford's decisive two-run triple.
