From the get-go, this was not Texas' night. Young righty Luis Mendoza allowed five earned runs over just three innings and the bullpen couldn't stop the bleeding. Travis Metcalf homered in the fifth, but that was all the Rangers could manage against Jeremy Guthrie and the Orioles.
