Matt Garza shut out the Rangers, allowing just two hits while striking out nine, and didn't allow a hit for 5 2/3 innings. After Willy Aybar homered in the fourth inning, Carlos Pena, Eric Hinske and Gabe Gross followed suit in fifth.
