Homers by Marlon Byrd and Brandon Boggs helped the Rangers make a game of it late after Kameron Loe's 4 1/3 innings of shutout relief, but they were never able to tie it after Matt Harrison's rough start. Byrd's eighth-inning shot put Texas within one before the Tribe added two in the ninth.
