Daisuke Matsuzaka was shaky over six innings, but the Red Sox's offense gave him enough support, highlighted by Dustin Pedroia's three-run homer, to force extras. In the 11th, Jed Lowrie homered to give Boston the lead, and Manny Delcarmen closed it out.
