The Dodgers were unable to avoid the sweep, and a slumping offense was the main culprit, leaving 14 men on base in L.A.'s seventh straight game scoring three or fewer runs. That spoiled a solid start by Chad Billingsley, who overcame five walks to toss six frames of three-run ball.
