Unable to reward A.J. Burnett with a victory for his sharp outing, the Jays at least recovered to dash the Twins' playoff hopes. Joe Inglett homered early, Travis Snider was in the middle of the tying and winning rallies, and John McDonald stroked the go-ahead hit to make a winner of reliever Jesse Carlson.
