With Barry Zito's mastery of the Padres eluding him, the Giants found themselves in an early hole. A four-run sixth inning pulled them even, and after Pablo Sandoval tagged out the go-ahead run at the plate in the eighth, he raced home on a wild pitch in the 10th for the winning tally.
