In a night filled with lead changes and seesaw action, the Pirates looked as if they would emerge victorious after Steve Pearce's two-run, go-ahead homer in the eighth inning. It wasn't to be, however, as T.J. Beam allowed a walk-off homer that spoiled Jeff Karstens' stellar outing and Nyjer Morgan's four-hit, two-RBI effort.
