Joe Crede was unable to corral a catchable foul pop in the sixth, giving an extra life to White Sox slugger Jim Thome, who promptly stroked a two-run homer off tough-luck losing pitcher Nick Blackburn, snapping a tie ballgame. The Twins committed three errors while Delmon Young hit his first homer.
