No sweep for KC
Photos
Rangers 6, Royals 5
After throwing 37 pitches in the first inning, Kyle Davies lasted through the sixth. (Matt Slocum/AP)
On the cusp of their first sweep in Arlington since 2003, the Royals saw things unravel in the eighth when the Rangers scored two off Ron Mahay and Jamey Wright. A struggling Kyle Farnsworth couldn't extend the game, giving up a walk-off solo homer to Michael Young in the ninth.
