Giants 1, Rockies 0
Jason Hammel was efficient, tossing 79 pitches over his six frames Sunday. (Ben Margot/AP)
Jason Hammel pieced together his strongest outing of the season, hurling six efficient innings of shutout baseball, but the Rockies' offense couldn't figure out Barry Zito and the Giants' staff, which eventually landed Colorado in the loss column when Manuel Corpas was tagged with a run in the bottom of the 10th.
