The A's ended their current four-game skid, and split the two-game series with the Rangers, using a flurry of runs. Jack Cust hit a grand slam in the fourth, followed by a Matt Holliday three-run shot in the fifth. Trevor Cahill allowed one run over seven innings to earn his first win.
