Carl Pavano took a shutout into the fourth and struck out six over five-plus innings, but three runs allowed were enough to put an end to his three-game winning streak. Jhonny Peralta put the Tribe on the board in the sixth, but he was stranded on third with the tying run in the two-run frame.
