Extra-inning heroics
Photos
Athletics 4, Rays 1
Josh Outman struck out six and walked one in six innings on Tuesday. (Chris O'Meara/AP)
Matt Holliday turned a 3-2 changeup into the game-winning home run, crushing Joe Nelson's offering deep into the left-field seats for a three-run shot in the 11th inning. The blast overshadowed a strong start from Josh Outman, who held the Rays scoreless through six.
