Edgar Gonzalez intentionally walked Chris Davis, who leads the Majors in strikeouts and had four K's in the first game of the double header, to load the bases and get to Taylor Teagarden in the first. The Rangers catcher knocked in a pair in the four-run frame and the A's never recovered.
