Twins 4, Indians 3
The Twins weathered the late innings to preserve Kevin Slowey's eighth win. (AP)
By Kelly Thesier / MLB.com
Kevin Slowey didn't quite match his eight-inning, one-run performance of his last start against the Tribe, but he wasn't far off. Slowey, backed by Joe Mauer's two-run homer among three hits and three RBIs, controlled the Tribe before allowing two runs and exiting in the seventh inning.
