The Nationals jumped out to a quick lead when Cristian Guzman led off the game with a double and later scored on Ryan Zimmerman's sacrifice fly. After Ross Detwiler allowed three runs in the top of the fifth, Washington ran out of time when rain stopped the game an inning later.
