Doug Mathis' emergency start didn't quite go as planned, as the young righty allowed four earned runs over five innings en route to taking the loss. His supporting cast, however, didn't fare much better against the Blue Jays, as the Rangers' offense managed just two hits against a masterful Toronto staff.
