Lincecum dinged
Photos
Angels 4, Giants 3
Tim Lincecum retired the first 10 batters he faced. (Marcio Jose Sanchez/AP)
Tim Lincecum was his usual dominating self for much of his first career start vs. the Angels, but four consecutive hits to begin the eighth sent the right-hander to his first defeat since April 12. Matt Downs notched his first two Major League hits, and Travis Ishikawa homered in the loss.
