Braden Looper was hit hard early and pulled after 3 2/3 innings, when the game was delayed more than two hours due to rain. Prince Fielder gave the Brewers an early lead with a three-run homer to increase his team-leading total to 17. The game was called in the seventh inning due to inclement weather in Detroit.
