Though he didn't earn his league-leading 10th victory, Matt Cain hurled eight stellar innings and left with the game deadlocked. Three frames later, Nate Schierholtz sent the Giants off winners, doubling to lead off the 11th and later scoring on a wild pitch for a series victory over the Rangers.
