One day removed from running away with a victory, the Phillies' offense seemed simply sluggish. After not notching a hit until the fifth inning, Jayson Werth tried to jump-start the bats with a solo shot in the seventh, but it proved not enough as Philadelphia fell. Starter Joe Blanton was solid, allowing just a two-run homer.
