Matt Garza entered the game seeking to avenge the 2008 World Series, and avenge he did, tossing eight innings of one-run ball while notching a rewarding victory. Pat Burrell homered in the second, and Jason Bartlett, who tied a club record by extending his hit streak to 18 games, helped the Rays rally for a five-run eighth.
