Cain denied 10th win
Photos
Brewers 5, Giants 1
Pablo Sandoval gets congratulations after his first-inning homer. (Morry Gash/AP)
Matt Cain entered the game looking to become the National League's first 10-game winner, and Pablo Sandoval's first-inning homer gave Cain a quick lead. Cain gave back two runs in the bottom of the frame, however, and the Giants never got on track offensively to recover.
