The Cubs managed just six hits -- two by Geovany Soto -- but missed a big chance in the eighth to compensate, unable to score with runners on second and third and no outs. Ted Lilly yielded two earned runs and fanned seven in seven innings, but a wild pitch and his error on the same play let the Bucs in.
